Giles Orr
Resume Papers BlogI'm a librarian/computer geek/photographer from Toronto. When I speak, I sound Canadian with a hint of the Deep South - but my politics are pure bleeding heart liberal. I was born on the cusp between the Baby Boomers and Generation X, but my life has definitely felt more like that of a Gen-Xer - over-educated and frequently underemployed. I'm an areligious Buddhist (really) willing to slaughter a chicken on the altar to offend fundamentalists of any variety. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Toronto) and another one in Library Science (McGill). I spend about six hours a week exercising. I spend my spare time writing HTML and scripts, working with Linux, and watching movies. My favourite hobbies other than computers are photography and travel.
