Window Managers Bloodlines
The following image involved both a lot of research and a lot of speculation. It's far too big and it's undoubtedly pretty inaccurate. But it was fun to make and there's also some truth in it. I hope to make it more accurate as I find out more about the heritage of various WMs. I started this in 2003 - it had a lot less on it then, and as its become more complex I think it's become a bit less useful. Comments are welcome.
Dates are that of the first public release - as best I've been able to determine.
