The ceiling in St. Ignazio church, Rome. This is a trick - I thought it would be more obvious on in an image than it is ... This is NOT a dome, it's a flat disk painted to look like a dome - at least when you're sitting in the pews. As you walk around the church, you notice that the perspective doesn't change. Should, but doesn't: because it's a painting. Very strange.
