Another favourite spot near Lisbon: the "Initiation Well" at Quinta da Regaleira, Sintra, Portugal. The property owner had a fascination with the Masons and built this well for some imagined(?) initiation ceremony. As I'm 40 metres below ground relatively late in the day, this was a 15 second exposure (really). From where I'm standing you can walk through one of the two or three tunnels that surface elsewhere on the property (that's rope lights you see glowing behind me, not fire). It's a really fascinating place.
