Peyrepertuse, ruin of a Cathar Castle. The castle was built on the back of a long ridge of rock, and I'm thinking that that ridge generates a lot of lift favourable to paragliders. There were two of them there for much of our visit, one who was very fond of flying as close as possible to the highest point of the castle. In fact, he did it so often that our first response of "oh wow!" became "whatever" and eventually "please go away!"
