Graffiti, the Toronto way

Toronto graffiti including an image of the CN Tower.

I've seen graffiti in a lot of places, and Toronto's is actually quite good. Some of it is even sponsored, in the sense that the owner of a building invites an artist to decorate his wall.

I've been a fan of Scott McLeod's Understanding Comics for many years, and in it he argues that pretty much anything we do that isn't reproduction, sleeping, or survival, is art. Yes, graffiti can be defacement, but it's also art, and Toronto is home to a LOT of good graffiti.
