Sylvie's 1996 Renault Clio. It has a 1.2 litre engine. I occasionally stalled it off the line - 45 horsepower isn't a lot of power. But I really like this car: we drove it all over southwest France in what would have been termed "abusive" circumstances, and it never complained once (although it took a screw in a tire once and went flat, but I don't blame the car for that). The roads in France are generally good - they just happen to be very narrow, incredibly twisty, and full of brutally steep hills.
