On a day trip out of Ninh Binh, Vietnam, I scrambled up one of the local karsts. It's a bit more dangerous than climbing up your average rock heap: limestone tends to weather into spikes and edges that would be really unpleasant to fall on. But it's very pretty and the views are worth the effort.
